For the love of dice

Hey guys,

Have always been enthralled by the game, yet have never met a nice bunch of people to play with. Anyone in Melbourne interested in starting a little posse so we can play (and I can achieve my dream of learning to play)?

:)

Haha, was close though! I thought he was gone for good... the fighter saved the day i guess :P

your place for next time is fine with me. :D

I've been making up some chars in my spare time - that char creator is brilliant, takes a lot of the grunt work out of it. (now I just need to find a printer...) I'm tryin to come up with a guy for each role and that way whatever other people want to play as won't be a problem, I'll just go with whatever's left.

Wow, this'll teach me to check in more often! I'm just in the middle of plotting out the move to ye olde Melbourne town.

I'll be fulltime in Melbourne in a month, from the middle of June onwards.

The webcam/mike thing is an option - I'm looking into doing it with my group up here in BNE to keep the campaign flowing. Skype is a wonderful thing.

I've got the same starter pack (you're so right - it's CHEAP! $20 for all the dice, tiles/tokens, mini-rules? Awesome.), and ... uh ... "a way to read" the books.

I'll be living around the 170's on Peel Street in North Melbourne. Seen the photos, looks like a lot of space, so that could work for hosting.

As always, I'll keep you updated as to the progress of the move.

How'd the game go with the three of you last week? Did you play multiple characters?

Well you are going to be based very close to where I live, about 5-10 mins walk. Living so close to the market is great too you'll love it.

The game went well. I volounteered to DM and Andrew and Adam ran 2 characters each. Should have another session on the weekend of the 30th May, probably the Sunday I believe.

Keep checking in and let us know how it goes with the move.

Great news you'll be down soon and very conveniently located. Look forward to yet another player...we'll have to start knocking people back if this keeps up :)

Ahh! I get settled in Melbourne (I'm here now!) and then work ships me off to Sydney. Won't be available for anything until late July. How are the games going?

Hey Adam Corney!

sorry for the late reply, things have been pretty busy on my front. Games are going well. We've had a couple of games with Adam Wallace doing the DMing. He's pretty good at it and it's been a blast so far. We started investigating a mystery abduction a little while back but holidays and general business interrupted the proceedings for a little bit, but chances are reasonable that we'll be resuming it in the near future. August 2nd is the proposed date and it seems to be doable for three of us thus far. You mentioned you might be available after late july so let us know how workable it is for you.

cheers
